Viacheslav Hipich
School Principal

Viacheslav Hipich is an educator and school leader with a strong academic background in history and extensive experience in education. He holds a bachelor's degree in History Education and a master's degree from Kharkiv National University. His professional journey has also included doctoral research at Donetsk National University and a research placement at the University of Warsaw.

His career began with a love of history and a desire to explore the past through research. However, his passion for teaching gradually became the driving force behind his professional path. After returning to his hometown of Kramatorsk, Viacheslav began teaching history before taking on the role of school principal. This experience deepened his understanding of educational leadership and introduced him to the principles and values of Nordic education, which became a lasting source of inspiration. He further explored these approaches through Lithuanian-Swedish-Ukrainian educational projects and volunteer initiatives. His career has since included working in private schools in Kyiv, contributing to Lithuania's Ministry of Education, and teaching history in Lithuanian schools.

Viacheslav believes that education is about more than sharing knowledge. It is about inspiring curiosity, encouraging independent thinking, and creating an environment where students can grow both academically and personally. His experience in teaching, research, and school leadership allows him to bring a broad perspective to education and support the development of a learning community built on strong values.

In 2026, Viacheslav returned to the role of school principal, bringing together his academic background, teaching experience, and passion for educational development. Despite his many professional responsibilities, history remains one of his greatest passions. In his free time, he enjoys immersing himself in books about Ancient Egypt, the Middle Ages, and the 19th century.
