In May 2026, our students participated in a creative art therapy workshop organized by Save the Children as part of the HEART (Healing and Education through the Arts) programme at the Ukrainian Center in Vilnius.

The workshop became even more memorable with the visit of distinguished guests, including Their Majesties the King and Queen of Sweden, the President of Lithuania, and the First Lady of Lithuania. Their presence made the day truly special, inspiring our students and giving them a unique opportunity to witness the importance of international support for children and education.

During the workshop, students created nature-inspired artworks using natural materials while exploring their emotions and expressing their creativity through art. Through guided activities, they developed their imagination, strengthened their self-expression, and reflected on their feelings in a safe, supportive environment.

The HEART programme uses the healing power of art to promote emotional well-being and resilience, helping children process their experiences, build self-confidence, and develop healthy ways of expressing their emotions. Workshops like this provide valuable opportunities for young people to feel supported, connect with others, and strengthen their emotional resilience through creativity.
