Our 11th-grade students have successfully returned from an inspiring youth exchange in Norway, which took place as part of the Erasmus+ programme.

Throughout the project, our students joined peers from Croatia, Germany, Norway, and Turkey in a week filled with meaningful learning experiences, cultural exchange, and international collaboration. Together, they participated in intercultural seminars, team-building activities, discussions, creative workshops, and digital storytelling sessions, exploring important topics such as cultural diversity, inclusion, empathy, active citizenship, and the value of mutual understanding in today's multicultural world.

The programme encouraged participants to step outside their comfort zones, work in international teams, and share their own perspectives while learning from others. Through collaborative tasks and interactive activities, students strengthened their communication, leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. They also gained greater confidence in using English in real-life situations and developed a deeper appreciation for different cultures and traditions.

One of the highlights of the exchange was the series of cultural evenings, during which each participating country proudly introduced its national traditions, customs, music, and cuisine. These evenings created a welcoming atmosphere where participants celebrated both their differences and the values they share, building lasting friendships across borders.

In addition to the educational programme, students had the opportunity to discover Norway's breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage. They visited the historic town of Lillehammer, enjoyed hiking through the beautiful Norwegian countryside, and experienced the country's unique natural environment firsthand. These excursions complemented the project's educational goals by promoting well-being, environmental awareness, and appreciation of local culture.

The exchange brought together 45 young people from five European countries, creating a truly international learning environment. By the end of the project, our students returned home not only with unforgettable memories and new friendships but also with enhanced intercultural competence, greater self-confidence, and valuable skills that will benefit them in their future academic, personal, and professional lives.
