From June 13 to 20, the Gravity International School team participated in a Job Shadowing programme at Akademiet Oslo in Norway. The mobility took place as part of the Erasmus+ project “Bridges of Belonging: Enhancing Inclusive Pedagogy for Displaced Learners.”

Throughout the week, members of the Gravity team explored the Norwegian approach to education, observed teachers at work and studied practices that can be applied within an international school environment.

From Inclusive Education to Digital Technologies

​

The mobility programme covered several key areas of modern education.

​

The Gravity team explored:

contemporary approaches to inclusive education;

social and emotional learning;

support for children affected by forced displacement;

CLIL methodology;

project-based learning;

the use of digital technologies in education;

approaches to working in multilingual learning environments.

​

Special attention was given to creating a safe and supportive educational environment.

​

This is particularly important for Gravity as an international school where students may have different linguistic, cultural and educational backgrounds while sharing one common school community.

​

Bringing International Experience Back to School

​

International mobility is not only an opportunity to observe educational practices in another country. It is also an opportunity to bring new ideas and approaches back to our own school.

​

The knowledge and practices gained in Norway will gradually be integrated into Gravity’s educational process.

​

Participants will also share their experience with colleagues through internal training sessions and professional development meetings.

​

In this way, Erasmus+ becomes an important part of the team’s continuous professional development and supports Gravity in creating an educational environment inspired by European practices.
