The new school year at Gravity International School in Vilnius has begun in a special way. Gravity enters 2026–2027 as an international educational community where Ukrainian and Lithuanian educational traditions meet Cambridge International and a wide range of European opportunities for students.

The opening celebration brought together first graders who are only beginning the first chapter of their school journey and Grade 11 students who are already preparing for the next stage — university and their future professional paths.

Ukrainian Identity and European Opportunities

The Ukrainian and Lithuanian flags standing side by side became one of the defining symbols of this year’s celebration, reflecting Gravity’s unique story in Vilnius.

​

The school continues to offer Ukrainian and Lithuanian educational programmes, while Cambridge International remains an important part of its international educational environment.

​

The celebration welcomed school friends and guests, as well as representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Lithuania.

​

It was especially meaningful to hear words of encouragement from the Gravity Class of 2026. They began this academic year already as students at leading universities across Europe.

A New Year of Ambitious Academic Goals

Gravity students have an exciting and ambitious year ahead.

Key areas of focus include:

• Cambridge International and international educational programmes;

• Erasmus+ projects;

• international and national examinations;

• research projects of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;

• academic competitions and olympiads;

• professional pathways for senior students;

• university partnerships;

• further development of an English-speaking

 

Language development will also remain an important part of school life. At Gravity, English is increasingly becoming a natural part of everyday communication — not only in lessons, but also during breaks and throughout the school day.
